The Rankin garden
A small country garden with access issues:
Creating an interesting scheme while addressing the main practical limits of a small space can result in a very beautiful garden.
In this design a number of paths were created to allow access through a shared front garden. Feature planting and careful choice of materials enabled a strong structure to be developed in line with the client’s ultimate budget. Lavender hedging along each path created a scented haven that was further enhanced by a small ornamental flowering cherry.
